After the news leaked yesterday, H&M quickly followed-up with their own official press release announcing the big get for the world-wide fashion retailer. Maison Martin Margiela first hit the catwalk in 1988 as the brainchild of the incredibly talented and notoriously media-shy designer Martin Margiela, now known offering new reinterpretations of label visions as the seventh member of the original avant-garde group of designers called Antwerp Six. Set for a line-up of clothing for both men and women that exemplifies “conceptual and timeless style” and “the work of the group rather than one designer,” the collection is expected to feature whites and, along with them, the concepts of anonymity and ambiguity.
